What is the RMTAO?

For individuals considering a career as a Registered Massage Therapist, this is an important question that you should be asking. It is also important to distinguish the RMTAO from the CMTO (our profession’s regulatory body) as their mandates and responsibilities are different.

The RMTAO is a member driven organization which functions as the only recognized voice for Registered Massage Therapists in our province. The primary purpose of the RMTAO is […]

Infant Massage!

infant massage 6Infant Massage!

On April 23rd the second year D’Arcy Lane students had the opportunity to learn about infant massage. Massage for your little ones can help to improve circulation, relieve discomfort from gas and constipation, stimulate the neurological system, increase alertness and reduce stress. Infant massage also fosters the special bond between parent and child.

A special thank you to all of the parents who brought their little ones into the school!
